Patrice
Keegan has been Executive Director of Boston Cares since 2002. Before that,
Patrice was founding Director of the CivicHealth Institute at Codman Square
Health Center, Codman's Administration & Finance Director, and a Project
Administrator at Cambridge Hospital. In addition to participating in local
politics, Patrice serves on the Board of Directors of the Hands On Network and
the Advisory Board of the Simmons College Institute for Leadership & Change.
Patrice has participated in numerous initiatives focused on non-profit
excellence, civic engagement, and sustainable communities; and frequently
addresses both domestic and international groups on various aspects of social
entrepreneurship and re/building civil society.
Patrice
has a Master in Public Administration degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of
Government and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts cum laude from Harvard University.
Patrice is a graduate of Lead Boston, and has twice been a United States
delegate to the Women Waging Peace colloquium at Harvard University.
