What:
Boston Cares hosted its first Campus Day of Service in September 2007 to provide an opportunity for college and university students in Boston to participate in volunteer service projects at agencies across the city. Over 150 students helped make the day successful by giving their time to the Boston community. The second Campus Day of Service will be held on April 5, 2007.

Who:
300 college and university students from more than 8 institutions in Greater Boston. Berklee College of Music, Emerson College, Massachusetts College of Art, the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Simmons College, and participate in the event.

Saturday April 5, 2008, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. More details and sign-ups to follow!

Where:
Projects will occur in neighborhoods across the city. Some examples are Cradles to Crayons, Boston Latin School and the Greater Boston Food Bank. Students will engage in tasks like invasive species removal, donation sorting and organization, and painting. More projects and information will be released closer to the date!
