Participating in Campus Initiative is a great way
to:
* Make a difference in your community;
* Build your resume and develop leadership skills;
* Meet other people; and
* Have fun!
Any currently enrolled university or college student
in the Greater Boston area is eligible to join the Campus Initiative. Getting started is easy,
all you need to do is register, select a
project/course and sign up.
1) REGISTER
The first step to becoming a Campus Initiative
member is to register with Boston Cares.* Once you
have entered your information, an activation code
will be sent to you via email.
Register now.
* Please note: If you participated in Campus
Day of Service, it is likely you are already in our
system. To retrieve your information, go to the
Boston Cares'
Member Center and select “Forgot Password." A
password will be e-mailed to you.
2) SELECT A PROJECT/COURSE
To find a project/course to participate in, first
login the Boston Cares'
Member Center.
To locate a volunteer project, go to
Volunteer Projects, select "Search Projects" and
enter "Campus Initiative" in the keyword search or
click here.
To locate a leadership training or seminar,
go to
Orientations & Trainings, select "Search
Courses" and enter "Campus Initiative in the keyword
search or
click here.
3) SIGN UP
Once you have found a project/course you would like
to participate in, click on the event name.
Click on
You are now signed up for the event. You will receive a
confirmation email with details and information will
also be stored in your Member Center page.
