Are you interested in learning more about “hot” issues? Do you appreciate having great conversations while enjoying a wonderful dinner? If so, Conversation Café is for you!

What is the Conversation Café?

Conversation Café is a monthly dinner series which brings people together across the political and social spectrum to discuss timely questions and issues. While many of the participants are Boston Cares members, this program is open to everyone and often attracts a wide range of individuals involved in community issues. People can attend just one Conversation Café or come as frequently as they like.

What is the format for the Conversation Café?

For some Conversation Cafés, a speaker is brought in to talk about the issue which is then followed up by small group discussions. For other topics, there is no speaker which allows for more extended facilitated small group discussions. Recent guest speakers include John McDonough, the Executive Director of Health Care For All, and Joan Vennochi, Boston Globe Columnist.
