Learn more about the issues that affect you and the community. Citizen Academy is designed to provide opportunities for individuals to learn more about contemporary social issues encountered in our communities and through our volunteer service.

Citizen Academy offers a wide range of programs including a book club, Conversation Café dinner and discussion program, Serve & Learn Projects, and other special civic engagement events.

Most Citizen Academy programs are open to the entire community and we encourage Boston Cares members to invite friends, family and colleagues to our events!
