Citizen Academy offers several resources for individuals looking to become more engaged in the Greater Boston Community.

Civic Resource Guide
The Civic Resource Guide was created to support individuals seeking to become more engaged in the community. The Civic Resource Guide was created with generous support from The Boston Globe Foundation and the Herman & Frieda L. Miller Foundation. To download a copy, click here (Adobe Acrobat required).

Boston Cares Issue Briefs
Boston Cares Issue Briefs were developed to provide local, statewide and national perspective on a variety of social issues that Boston Cares volunteer projects support.

For more information on these and other issues, we encourage you to utilize the Boston Indicator's Project, available online at www.tbf.org/indicators.  Produced and maintained  by The Boston Foundation, this web site features indicators of change and progress in ten sectors and is regularly updated with new information and reports.

The Boston Cares Issue Briefs were produced with support from the Boston Globe Foundation.

Citizen Academy Online
This site, developed by the Hands On Network, was designed for people to learn more about community issues. To explore frequently asked questions, find ways to take action or test your knowledge on an issue, click here.
