needs of the community.

Citizen
Academy
Citizen
Academy attracts
volunteers interested in learning more about issues, organizations,
and the communities in which they serve. Projects include service learning projects, educational
programs and workshops, and special events.
Citizen Academy projects and events
are free and open to the public. To participate, simply
register
and sign up for a project.

Corporate Volunteering
Boston
Cares organizes and leads
corporate volunteer projects
for companies of all sizes during our annual
Corporate Volunteer Day,
and also through a year-round corporate volunteering program called
Hands at Work.
Corporate teams range from a handful of employee volunteers to as
many as 1,000 or more.

BOOYAH! Youth &
Family Volunteering
Boston
Cares Youth & Family volunteering program, more popularly know as
BOOYAH! (Boston Young Active Hands), offers a variety of ways
for young people and families to plug into service.
BOOYAH! projects and events are
free and open to the public. To participate, simply

is a referral service for volunteer
opportunities that require specialized skills or an ongoing
commitment.

Frosty's Friends
Frosty’s
Friends provides gifts for
kids from Greater Boston’s emergency shelters, community centers,
low-income housing programs, educational programs, and day care
centers. Last year, close to 3,000 children in need received a
hand-picked gift.
