This year Disney Parks is
celebrating something new and that’s the good things
people do for their communities. In 2010, Disney
wants to inspire one million people to volunteer a
day of service to a participating organization in
their communities and celebrate their good works by
giving each of them one day admission to a theme
park at Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World®
Resort, free.
Get Involved...
1 .
Starting January
1, go to
DisneyParks.com
and click on the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day"
icon. Search for Boston Cares projects.
Signing up for the projects on DisneyParks.com will
sign you up for the project and make you eligible
for the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" offer.
Please Note: If you would
like to sign up for these projects without the "Give
a Day, Get a Disney Day" offer you can sign up for
the projects directly on the
Boston Cares Calendar.
2. Anyone age six and up is eligible for the
offer. All children under age 18 MUST be accompanied
by an adult head of household. Children accompanied
by an adult who is not their head of household will
not be eligible for the offer, no exceptions. Sorry,
this offer is not applicable to youth groups.
Please Note: Youth Groups
can sign up for the below projects, but will not be
eligible for the "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day"
offer.
3. A Boston Cares staff member will be in touch
with you to see if you are intending to bring
children, and their names and birthdates.
4. After your project Boston Cares will verify
your hours so that you and your children (if
applicable) can receive your passes.
Disney will distribute up to one million passes
through December 15, 2010. If you find that many
opportunities on
www.disneyparks.com are
filled, please check back often as new projects will
be added regularly.
