Frosty's Friends |
Frosty’s Friends provides gifts for kids from Greater Boston’s
emergency shelters, community centers, low-income housing programs,
educational programs, and day care centers. Last year, over 1,800
volunteers purchased a holiday gift for a child in need. This year
we hope to surpass that number!

|
How Frosty’s Friends Works: |
- Our non-profit partners who work
with children help the kids write (and decorate!) personal
letters requesting a small holiday gift valued at $20-30.
- Boston Cares volunteers who have
asked to participate receive the original letter. You then
purchase the requested gift and send it directly to the child’s
agency to be given to the child on the holiday.
|
| How to Become One of
Frosty’s Friends: |
Fill out an application
and return it to Boston Cares. Due to an overwhelming demand from
agencies, we have 700 Frosty's letters left to fill. The deadline
has been extended until all the letters are taken.
