Tutor Teen Artists @ Artists for Humanity

Artists for Humanity is a nonprofit organization established in 1991 that seeks to bridge social, economic, and racial divisions by giving youth the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts. Teens arrive after school and work on commissioned projects under the guidance of professional artists, learning both art and business skills through an apprenticeship style of learning. For more information on Artists for Humanity please visit the website here.

As a youth empowerment organization, Artists for Humanity wants to be sure to support our youth academically as part of their pathway to long-term self-sufficiency. AFH provides tutoring for an hour and a half three day a week for high school aged students (13-18).

AFH is currently seeking volunteer tutors to help students with their homework and serve as positive role models. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with some of Boston's talented youth!  There is great need for tutors with a solid understanding of high school level Math & Science.  All levels of tutoring experience welcome.
