Serve Lunch to Seniors @ East Boston Social Center
Since 1974, Kit Clark Senior Services has been committed to helping our community's older adults live with dignity and independence. Founded in response to the Federal Older Americans Act, Kit Clark has grown to offer over 30 programs at over 40 locations in Greater Boston. These Programs include meal delivery, free community center meal servings, mental health services, homelessness prevention, and physical therapy.
Join a small team of volunteers and serve a warm and healthy meal to local senior citizens. All meals are prepared and delivered to the center in advance, volunteers are responsible for setting up the eating area, portioning and serving the food, interacting with the seniors, and clean up. Serve up some food and spread some love!!
Volunteers must follow established procedures for food safety and handling.
*Volunteers new to Boston Cares must first participate in a New Volunteer Orientation
