Opportunity Details

Practice Customer Service Skills with Adults at YMCA Training, Inc.

A volunteer’s role is simple and short. We provide each volunteer with calling instructions and a short easy-to-follow script. For added convenience, volunteers can make calls from their home, place of employment, and other preferred locations.   We ask that volunteers call continuously within their self selected scheduled  15, 30 minutes or more timeframes and give brief feedback to the program participants at the end of each call.  The average length of a call is typically between 4-6 minutes (including feedback).

There is no central site for volunteers--calls can be made wherever is quiet and convenient.

**This is an Express Interest opportunity. YMCA Training, Inc. will manage this project, not Boston Cares.
