Garden at The Children's Room with COGdesign

Community Outreach Group for Landscape Design (COGdesign) | http://www.cogdesign.org
Come volunteer with COGdesign at The Children's Room (TCR) garden to help with fall planting, pruning and keeping the garden beautiful.

Tools will be provided. Please bring water, a snack, and sunscreen! Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Youth-friendly, 16+. All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Please email youth@bostoncares.org or call 617-422-0910 x 208 if you have any questions..

This opportunity is open to Boston Cares member who have attended a new volunteer orientation.

About the Children's Room:
The Children’s Room offers hope and healing to children after the death of someone close to them, typically a parent or sibling. We also provide a place for parents to meet with each other and talk about their own experiences parenting a grieving child, and to give and receive supportaround their own grief. http://childrensroom.org/
