Farm Tour and Ice Cream Celebration with Outdoor Access
Come explore beautiful places and meet great people! STAVROS/Outdoor Access is an accessible recreation organization providing year round unique opportunities for people with varying abilities so that family and friends can play together. We have custom adaptive equipment including mountain wheelchairs!
Participants come alone or with families, from day programs and more. We serve folks with all different types of physical, mental health and cognitive disabilities that may need help to move into our wheelchairs walk with them on the trails.
We focus on having fun and creating a comfortable environment to try new things and lots of time to socialize. We include fun activities such as letter-boxing, dairy barn and mansion tours. This is a great volunteer opportunity for families, youth groups and
students. Volunteer trainings happen the morning of each program. We'll train you to assist with the wheelchairs and to be a sighted guide!.
