Fall Teamworks 2014: Go Green Express Interest


Boston Cares TeamWorks Program
 is focused on facilitating the shift from casual volunteering to intentional citizenship. Each team consists of a series of three to five projects, where you participate in with a group to learn about specific issues, organizations and/or communities encountered through volunteerism. Read below for more information about this specific team:

Do you enjoy being in the outdoors? Do you enjoy gardening and volunteering at local parks in the Greater Boston area? Come Join the Go Green Team and participate in fun, outdoorsy, and impactful projects while serving on a team. Participate in a variety of projects such as National Public Lands Day, Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Ripples of Hope, and SouthWest Corridor Park.
 
     Thursday, September 18 from 6:00pm-7:00pm
     Boston Cares Fall TeamWorks Kick-Off!
 
     Saturday, September 27 from 9:00am-12:00pm
     National Public Lands Day: Painting & Maintenance 
 
     Tuesday, September 30 from 5:30pm-7:30pm
     Emerald Necklace Conservancy: Rose Gardening

     Saturday, October 4 from 9:45am-12:00pm
     Stearns Farm: Fall Harvesting & Gardening

     Saturday, October 18 from 10:00am-12:00pm
     SouthWest Corridor Park: Fall Clean-Up

     

Please be mindful when committing to this team that these organizations depend on a specific volunteer group size in order to provide their services. Attendance at all projects is extremely important.
