Nira Rock Urban Wild Spring Cleanup
Join the Boston Parks Department's Urban Wild Program (UWP) in welcoming spring! The UWP protects, restores and maintains several dozen natural areas in Boston for conservation and recreation.
For this project, participants will join the UWP and Friends of Nira Rock in cleaning and restoring a landcape which includes a 40' rockclimbing wall, an orchard, a meadow summit, and a short woodland trail. Volunteers will be helping wtih light raking, pruning, and cleanup.
