Beautify the Schoolyard at Edward Everett Elementary
Edward Everett Elementary School, a public school in Dorchester, uses the schoolyard for instruction and curriculum development. It is a greenspace gem in Dorchester and can become even more, with vision and effort, and a little help from friends!
We will be cleaning up the schoolyard including the garden beds, planting areas, and outdoor classrooms picking up trash, weeding and pruning, re-making paths etc The schoolyard is a source of beauty and education for the school children as well as a park for the neighborhood.
Tools will be provided.
T-Accessible, Red Line.
This project is open to Boston Cares Volunteers who have completed an orientation.
