Boston Public Schools is gearing up for the Parent University Spring Conference which will take place on April 9 and we’d like to invite you to join us. At the Conference we are bringing in speakers who will address ways to affect student success: curriculum, cognitive development, reading strategies, nutrition and so much more. Classes will be focused on the many ways that families can support their children.  Families love this time they have to be students, but the Parent University Learning Conference takes a lot of people to run smoothly.

Volunteers are needed to greet and direct parents, serve as a room host in classes, and welcome families as they join us.  Please consider volunteering with Parent University and make this a special day for families.

GREETERS: helping parents navigate Madison Park's large campus and find classrooms. Greeters will often have down time during the time sessions are taking place and can sit in on classes that interest them.

ROOM HOSTS: Volunteers will offer support to a presenter, greeting families, helping them sign in, passing out materials, handing out and collecting surveys, and anything else the presenter might need.

BALLROOM: The ballroom is where families eat meals, start and end the day. Volunteers in the ballroom are greeting parents as they enter, answering questions about the day, helping families find classes, and neatening up after parents leave.

T-Accessible: Orange Line (Ruggles), Green E Line, (Northeastern)
