Visit a Senior for Mother's Day
Celebrate our community's women and mothers! Volunteer to visit a lonely, and isolated Senior on Mother's Day! Bring a care package filled with flowers, cards, and a hot meal, to a senior in the Boston Area! Volunteer duties include being friendly, and conversational while visiting a Little Brothers- Friends of the Elderly Senior! Youth Friendly 15+ with an adult! Families Welcome!
Care packages will be given to volunteers, the day of volunteering with directions to their Senior's home! Volunteers are expected to visit their Senior for one hour!
The deadline to register for this event is on Thursday, May 7th!Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly Mission Statement:
"Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly is a national network of non-profit volunteer-based organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. We offer to people of goodwill the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and celebration of life"
