goCreate: Classroom Kits

This project is intended for families and young volunteers.  In order to attend, you must be either under the age of 18, or accompanying a youth volunteer. Please email gtesta@bostoncares.org if you are bringing a child. Email the child's first and last name and date of birth (00/00/0000). All volunteers under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
goCreate: Classroom Kits is a special opportunity for youth to attend a project that was created by and will be run by teens! Handpicked Boston Cares’ teen leaders worked to identify a community need and developed a service project to address that need. Through research and engaging with community members, participants discovered that environment and resources  played a significant role in student success and happiness. Teens then developed a project for volunteers to put together classroom kits to be donated to teachers in schools with at-risk students.  This will be a family-friendly and youth run event with the help of Boston Cares staff. 

All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Volunteer Leader.

Please note that Boston Cares requests a suggested donation of $5.00 per participating volunteer in order to help us provide supplies and management of the goCreate project. Thank you in advance for your donation!
