Volunteer for Shakespeare on the Common: King Lear

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company is pleased to present King Lear for the very first time! King Lear follows the journey of an aging king, faced with his own mortality and mental decline, who tried to secure the legacy of his kingdom by dividing it amongst his three daughters. Only through loss--of status, of love, or loyalty--does King Lear learn what is truly resonant at the end of a life.

Volunteers are needed to help pass out programs, collect e-mail addresses/survey information, lend a hand with general front of house operations, and more.
As an added bonus, volunteers receive a free t-shirt, are invited to enjoy the performance from the Friends Section, and a receive a discount on CSC merchandise.

T-accessible: Green line to Boylston; Red line to Park Street; Orange Line to Chinatown.

This opportunity is available to Boston Cares members who have completed an orientation.
