2015 Active Shooter exercise at UMass Boston
2015 Active Shooter exercise at UMass Boston: Afternoon of Friday July 31st with lunch/briefings 12-1:30, Starting Exercise at 2pm and Hotwash at 4pm. This years exercise will be in the Campus Center and involves a community-preparedness component. The Campus Center Director is taking a leadership role engaging building occupants in an ongoing dialogue around safety, preparedness, and continuity of operations planning. Including a special ADA component, reflective of our whole-community, inclusive approach to preparedness. Also, the building is large, and we will be doing scenarios in the spacious ballroom and food court spaces. Looking for volunteers to play victims. Volunteers will get a chance to see how police respond to a simulated active shooter event. Food and T-‐Shirts provide for Participating Volunteers. You need to sign up by Noon July 10th.
