Red Cross Home Fire Preparedness Campaign- Presentation Training
Home Fire Preparedness Campaign (HFPC)- Presentation Training will be an important component of the HFPC, giving you the skills to present on the program to interested stakeholders and communities group. Please sign-up below.
This opportunity is only open to volunteers who attended the June 10th introduction training, however we welcome your assistance with this important cause! Please read below and email dpitts@bostoncares.org if you like to join having not attended June 10th.
The American Red Cross's Home Fire Preparedness Campaign (HFPC) is trying to reduce fire deaths and injuries by 25% over a five year period by establishing local partnerships that include fire departments, providing in-home fire education, and installing smoke alarms in underprivileged homes. Get trained on how to present the HFPC to community groups, and take part in canvasing and smoke alarm installation event days!Volunteers for project will need to register with Red Cross Ready When Time Comes Boston Cares DAT and complete short online training, but do not have to take in- class Disaster Services: Overview Training with Red Cross for HFPC training.Register Here with the Red Cross Group
