Family Volunteer Day 2015: Literacy Kits (5+)
Family Volunteer Day will be jam packed with fun times, great projects, and opportunities to work together. There will be one session from 10am-12pm. Participants will work together to create Literacy kits for the new library at the Sarah Greenwood School. The kits will include reading journals, library signs, and literacy games.
Kid Friendly, 5+. If you at least 15 years old and have Registered with Boston Cares, you may sign up and attend the Literacy Kit project on your own.All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to turn in at registration. If a family/group member is under 13 years old: First, please register and sign up any group members who are over 13. Then immediately email Aysia Rodriguze at arodriguez@bostoncares.org with 5-12 year old participants' full names and birthdates (00/00/0000).
Groups of volunteers must sign up with at least 1 adult volunteer (age 18+) for every 3 youth volunteers (ages 17 and under).
This project is open to Pending members who have registered with Boston Cares. You do not need to have attended an orientation.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants, please note that using GPS to find 50 Park Street doesn't quite get you there...Once you have arrived at 60 Park Street, turn onto Mapes Street and follow for about 1/4 mile. The IUEC Local 4 building will be on your left. Plenty of parking is available. The location is less than a 10-minute walk from the Fields Corner Red Line MBTA station.
