Serve Dinner at the Woods Mullen Shelter
Volunteers will be serving dinner to guests at the Woods Mullen Emergency Shelter. On top of ensuring an efficient, well-run meal service, the friendly faces and giving spirits of volunteers bring great energy to the shelter and help guests feel cared for and supported as they work towards independent living. Specific volunteer duties include portioning and serving plates behind the kitchen line and light clean up. Volunteers are required to wear the provided apron, gloves, and hairnet (baseball caps are fine as well).
This project is open to Boston Cares members that have completed an orientation.
T-Accessible, Red Line (Andrew), Orange Line + bus connection
