Fall Clean Up & Bulb Planting with Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy

Since 2004, the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy works to restore and enrich the Southwest Corridor Park for current and future generations. The 4.7-mile, 50-acre park is sited along the MBTA's Orange Line transit corridor and serves 130,000 residents and commuters. In conjunction with the public, adjacent businesses, educational and cultural institutions, the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy gathers resources to restore and maintain the Park, its plantings, structures, play areas, and community programs.   

Volunteers will (weather permitting) participate in a general park clean up, transplant shrubs and perennials, and plant bulbs for the fall.  Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes, bring a water bottle along too!

Youth-friendly, 12+. All youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

T-accessible: Orange Line (Mass Ave)

This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.

All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Please email volunteers@bostoncares.org or call 617-422-0910 x209 if you would like to bring youth to this project.
