A 9/11 Tribute: Plant 3,000 Flags in the Public Garden
Volunteers are needed to help plant flags by the 9/11 Memorial at the Boston Public Garden. 3,000 flags will be planted, one for each person lost in the 9/11 attacks. The flags will be planted at dawn and removed at dusk.
Volunteers at the 5:30am shift will be planting flags, while volunteers at the 7:30pm shift will be removing the flags.
All volunteers under 18 years old MUST bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Please email youth@bostoncares.org or call 617-422-0910x208 if you have any questions.
