Volunteer at Fill the Bus with Boston Cares and Catie's Closet
FIll the Bus for kids in need! We've teamed up with Catie's Closet to collect gently used clothing and new socks, underwear, toiletries and shoes for kids in need in Boston! Catie's Closet helps in-need K-12 students by providing them clothing and basics they need to confidently walk through their school doors every day, free of charge. They're opening their first closet at the Mather School in Boston this fall and we're helping them get the word out and the closet stocked! Volunteers on the Greenway will help sort donations and pack the bus! Can't volunteer? You can support both Catie's Closet and Boston Cares by dropping off donations at Rowes Wharf between 10:30 and 2pm on August 12, or by buying a seat on the e-bus ( $15 provides an outfit for one student, $25 provides new toiletries for 5 kids in need).
