Bears Basketball: Special Needs Youth Basketball with Newton Athletes Unlimited
This is a great way to start your weekend! Spend your Saturday with the Bears Basketball program helping to teach basketball skills to children with disabilities ages 8-17. You do not have to be an experienced basketball player to help with this program, just come with a willingness to engage with the athletes, encourage them to do their best and enjoy being outside! Volunteers work with individual athletes as well as in groups to have fun and play some hoops. Expect to run, jump, and play and wear your athletic clothes!
