CPR/AED Certification

According to the American Heart Association, effective CPR can double the chances of survival after sudden cardiac arrest! If your certification has lapsed or you want to solidify your emergency preparedness skillset, get CPR certified!

Our instructors are generously donating their time and will cover CPR techniques for adults, children and infants as well as AED and bag-valve-mask usage, along with instruction on handling choking emergencies. You'll get hands-on practice and receive an American Heart Association certification card by mail. This will be an advanced course and you will be certified for two years as a BLS Healthcare Provider. This is the certification offered to first responders, EMTs, Nurses, Lifeguards, etc.
There is a $40 fee for the class that covers the cost of a face mask, an AHA Student Reference Manual, and the processing fee for the certification card.
Please bring exact change in cash!

The training is located at Boston Cares, 90 Canal Street, Suite 610, Boston MA 02114. We encourage volunteers to take public transportation as we are located conveniently between North Station and Haymarket on the Orange and Green lines. Parking is metered in the surrounding areas and very limited.
