Healthy Body, Healthy Mind: CSFP Distribution at Cambridge College
Cambridge College provides academically excellent, time-efficient, and affordable higher education to a diverse population of adult learners. 40% of students make less than $25,000 a year.
Volunteers are needed to support their Food distribution program in partnership with the GBFB. Volunteers will:
- help to unload food - move food from loading dock to room 152 - unpack food and staff tables - register/check off registration - clean up, load and move leftover food to dock for pick up or to trash - fold tables
Please note: Volunteers may be split up. One will oversee unloading of food, one or two will work on registration/check off registration. Most will help to upload, move food up, unpack and staff tables.
Volunteers must be able to stand for an hour and lift and move boxes of donated food.
This project is for Boston Cares members who have completed an orientation.
