Matching Gifts
Double your gift without doubling your check! Many companies will match their employees' charitable contributions. If you are planning to support Boston Cares this year, please check with your HR Department to find out if your company has a Matching Gift program. Often, all you need to do is fill out a form with our Tax-ID number, which is 04-3173682. If Boston Cares needs to fill out the form, just send it along. It's quick, easy, and we greatly appreciate twice the cash!

Payroll Deductions
At many companies, employees support their favorite nonprofit each month through payroll deductions. Does your company have this program? If the answer is yes, we hope you'll support Boston Cares. If you are not sure, we encourage you to contact the HR or Community Relations Department to find out.

United Way Giving Campaign
Does your company support a United Way giving campaign? You can direct your United Way funds to support your favorite nonprofit- Boston Cares! At the bottom of the United Way Pledge Form, there is a section for Restricted Contributions where you can fill in specific agencies to receive your funds. If you would like for Boston Cares to be the beneficiary of your United Way donation, you must enter our code number- 102065. Boston Cares is not in the directory, so please be sure to write in 102065 and write "Boston Cares" underneath the number on that line.

Dollars for Do-ers
Through Dollars for Do-ers programs, companies make a financial contribution to those organizations that their employees volunteer with. Often, the contribution is tied to a certain number of hours of service. If your company has a "Dollars for Do-ers" program, please let us know. We can provide evidence of all of the service hours and projects you have completed with Boston Cares.

Employee Advised Contributions
Some companies have a program around the Holidays or other milestones through which the company will make a donation to a charity in an employee's name. As the Holidays roll around, we hope you'll keep Boston Cares in mind if your company has this option.

Gifts in Honor
Boston Cares will be pleased to acknowledge contributions made in honor of someone important to you with a specially designed gift card.
