What Boston Cares members have to say about Arts and Crafts with kids at St. Mary's Women and Infant Center:
"I thought this was excellent. It was nice to be able to sit and talk with the residents." ~Marcia Flaherty
"This is a wonderful project. The leader came prepared with an amazing amount of supplies, the kids loved expanding upon the project and the volunteers were really into it as well. I am always surprised that the kids stay occupied with arts and crafts for 2 hours, but they do, and they are well-behaved and attentive...Each volunteer was able to devote a lot of individual attention to the kids, helping to foster one-on-one conversations/guidance. This has become a project that I make an effort to do on a regular basis." ~Boston Cares member
