Description: Global Youth Service Day is an annual celebration of youth from over 120 different countries who are volunteering in their communities. By participating in this project, you will be joining millions of youth everywhere for the world’s largest annual day of youth service!

Founded in 1900, the New England Wild Flower Society is the oldest plant conservation organization in the United States. The Society is the leading steward of New England's 3,000 native plants, including more than 500 rare species.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Earth Day Celebration at the Society's botanical garden. Volunteers with help with family-friendly Earth Day Activities such as seed planting, face-painting, environmental games, passing out scavenger hunts, etc.

Kid Friendly, 8+. All volunteers under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old. Please notify the Project Leader of the names and ages of ALL youth you are bringing to the project.

This project is reserved for youth and family volunteers (Boston Cares members or pending members) and is offered through BOOYAH! Youth and Family program. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PROJECT IF YOU ARE NOT A YOUTH OR AN ADULT INTENDING TO VOLUNTEER WITH A CHILD.
