Help out at the Maverick Community Connector!

Maverick Landing Community Services in East Boston will be hosting its annual community event on Friday, July 19 at LoPresti Park. The aim of this event is an opportunity to bring together residents from the Maverick Landing Housing Development, The Eddy Apartments, and other East Boston community residents.



Maverick Landing Community Services is a non- profit organization located right in the heart of the Maverick Landing housing development, with a primary focus on helping children, youth, and adults build 21st-century skills. Our mission is to enhance the lives of the culturally and economically diverse residents of Maverick Landing, East Boston, and surrounding communities through family services and programing.

This event is all about bringing the community together, and celebrating the diverse and evolving population of East Boston with live music, food, art, & festivities - while also spreading awareness of Maverick Landing Community Services. 

The positions we need to fill are as follows:

Vendor Coordinator (2)
Stagehand/Runner (2)
Welcomer/Greeter (headcount clicker) (2)
Food Handler/Server (2)
Load in/Set up/Load out/Break down Crew (4-5)
Facilitating Raffle Table/Prizes (2)

This opportunity gives volunteers a chance to give back to the East Boston community, work closely with a small but impactful non-profit, and gain some valuable event experience!
