Join the Youth Success Corps with Tutoring Plus!

With the new school year in session, we are excited to welcome new tutors to the Youth Success Corps!

On Wednesday, September 25 from 6:00PM-7:30PM volunteers will receive an orientation to Tutoring Plus of Cambridge!

Volunteer tutors in the Youth Success Corps commit to serving weekly or bi-weekly (depending on the program site and project).

During the volunteer orientation, volunteers will be given a deeper overview of what to expect while volunteering with Tutoring Plus. We'll explore and equip you with all tools you will need to have a thoughtful and impactful school year with your student. We look forward to seeing you!

Volunteers will have the opportunity to tutor in a variety of ways:

1) As a weekly tutor paired with one student 
Volunteers can choose from six different sites to be placed at. Once placed,  volunteers will remain there with their student match for a minimum of one semester. All sites are a short walk from major train stations(Central Square, Alewife, Lechemere, Kendall Square)

2) As a classroom assistant during the fall T++ Coders coding program. 
The program is designed for 11-15 year old students that teaches basic coding and problem solving skills.Youth and Education Corps Tutors will support the T++ Coders program on  Mondays from 5:30pm-7pm
