Help at Fresh Truck's Pop-up Markets!

Fresh Truck works to radically impact community health by celebrating food culture and getting fresh food to people that need it the most. A transformed bus serves as a mobile market full of fresh produce. The truck drives to a variety of neighborhoods around Boston to deliver fresh, healthy food to people who need it! Fresh truck operates weekly and pop-up markets. Help them with three of their mobile market sites.

The goal of the project is to provide food to vulnerable population and motivate elderly to consume more fresh fruits and vegetables. Volunteers will be supporting the market managers by completing a variety of tasks including greeting customers, bagging groceries, restocking produce, line control, and helping with clean up after the event is finished.

Volunteers may take home up to $5 worth of groceries after the market is over.

Projects are at three different locations:

Every Tuesday:

Washington Beech Apartments (Beechland Circle) from 3:45-6:30 pm

Every Wednesday:

Mission Park Apartments(1 New Whitney St) from 4:15-7:00 pm.

Every Thursday:

Charles NewTown Apartments(98 Medford St) from  2:45-6:00 pm.
