Support Rescuing Leftover Cuisine
Do BIG work in little time with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Massachusetts!
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit food rescue organization.
RLC Massachusetts COVID-19 Response
Given the COVID-19 crisis, food access is needed now more than ever. RLC has created COVID-19 Safety Eligibility & Guidelines to ensure zero person-to-person contact while volunteering to distribute food.
Businesses: Can you donate food?
Volunteers: Are you able to transport food?
Human Services Agencies (large or small): Do you need food?
Visit: www.rescuingleftovercuisine.org/massachusetts
RLCMA strategically links food donors and recipients to achieve immediate and lasting food equity. To accomplish this goal, community members are engaged as volunteer “Rescuers." Individuals and teams of all ages may sign up for “Rescue Events” using a purpose-built app: “Rescuers” pick up surplus food or meals prepared specifically for donation from businesses and deliver them at no cost to the designated recipients. They create easy to understand instructions for each "Rescue Event," including C-19 Guidelines for everyone's safety. RLCMA has no minimum donation size, encouraging donation of any excess, and no mandatory number of rescue shifts. By volunteering as an RLCMA Rescuer, you will bridge the gap between available food and those who need it most. To learn more about what it means to be a rescuer, visit: www.rescuingleftovercuisine.org/volunteer.
