Help Pine Street Inn Move Household Items
Pine Street Inn is opening a new 52 unit house in Dorchester as part of their permanent housing program for homeless individuals. They need volunteer assistance with moving household items into units! Volunteers may do some heavy lifting but will mostly be opening boxes and transporting room supplies to the various floors & tenant rooms.
This volunteer shift is flexible - if you can only come in for a 2-3 hour window, that's ok just let us know! Pizza will be provided for volunteers!
About Pine Street Inn: Pine Street Inn partners with homeless individuals to help them move from the streets and shelter to a home, and assists formerly homeless individuals in retaining housing. They provide street outreach, emergency services, supportive housing, job training and connections to employment. They tirelessly advocate for collaborative solutions to end homelessness.
Accessibility: Red Line Fields Corner (16 minute walk) or 17 bus line.
