Boston Tax Help Coalition Training Express Interest

** At this time, The Boston Tax Help Coalition is seeking volunteers who speak Spanish for this opportunity.

The Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment and its Boston Tax Help Coalition seeks volunteers to help staff their newly launched Stimulus Hotline. While many Bostonians have received their Economic Impact Payment of $1,200, some continue to be left behind. The Boston Tax Help Coalition (BTHC) and Mayor Walsh are committed to making sure that no one leaves their $1,200 payment on the table based on their ability to access it.

Volunteers will provide telephone outreach and assistance to low and moderate-income Bostonians to guide them through the IRS portal, to help them access their stimulus payments, and to answer questions they may have.

All volunteers will receive relevant virtual training and your phone number will not be disclosed to callers. Volunteers can staff the hotline on Fridays from 2 pm - 5 pm.

All you need to volunteer is a computer and a phone and complete the virtual training. Express interest today to learn more and get access to the online training.
The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
