Hyde Park - Support the Fresh Truck Mobile Market @ Menino YMCA
At Fresh Truck, they are on a mission to strengthen communities by getting fresh food to the households that need it most. They work to radically impact community health by celebrating food culture and strengthening communities with the food they need.
Their Fresh Truck mobile markets are a food justice program designed to use reimagined vehicles to increase access to fresh food in traditionally marginalized communities. By bringing the shopping experience closer to people they can in turn provide more opportunities for households to use SNAP/HIP benefits.
During these weekly mobile markets, Fresh Truck staff and volunteers set up to run a dignified shopping experience for communities to have the option of selecting from a variety of quality fruits and vegetables at affordable prices!
