Virtual Knit / Crochet at Home for Boston Nonprofit Agencies

Come together virtually to meet other volunteers while we knit / crochet hats, scarves or mittens to donate for kids and adults at non-profits in your community.

Our partners currently accepting these handmade items are: My Brother's Table, More Than Words, Maverick Landing Community Services, Fourth Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, and Boston Living Center. If you need more information on these partners, how to donate to these organizations, or have questions, please contact volunteers@bostoncares.org.

Please note: volunteers are expected to have basic skills in knitting or crochet. This project is not designed to teach skills, although we can answer questions and provide resources for beginners and refreshers.

This is a virtual volunteer opportunity that will be done over video call! A link will be sent to you by the Volunteer Leader after you sign up.
