LEAP Exercise at Logan International Airport
Are You Ready?
Recent events worldwide underscore the need to be prepared for a real or perceived violent event in our community. To test our preparedness, Massport is sponsoring the Logan Emergency Action Plan – LEAP Exercise.
This LEAP Exercise will be a Full-Scale Active Shooter / Hostile Event training exercise.
This will be a hands-on learning experience in testing real-time response and preparedness. Briefings from senior federal and state law enforcement officials will be given prior to the exercise which will provide volunteers with a comprehensive understanding of how to react to a hostile event from the perspective of a civilian, passenger, tenant or first responder.
This opportunity will be conducted at Boston Logan Airport--BLUE and SILVER T accesible. Free parking will be available at the airport, as well.
