Prepare and package meals for the Critically Ill at Community Servings
Each day Community Servings prepares and packages 2,500 meals for men, women, and children who are struggling with acute life threatening illnesses. Join the Community Servings team in the kitchen preparing and packaging meals for the critically ill. Volunteers will help the staff slice, chop, cook, assemble, and package meals for individuals and families battling HIV/AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and other life-threatening illnesses.
Volunteers must wear shirts with long sleeves, long pants, and close toed shoes. Volunteers must also be in good health to assist in the kitchen.

This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.
Youth Friendly, 13+ (must be 18 to use knives) All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 617-422-0910 x209 if you would like to bring youth to this project.
