Preserve Books at Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service 2014

On Monday, January 20th, 2014 Boston Cares will partner with the Office of the Mayor of Boston, the Massachusetts Service Alliance and the YOU Generate Campaign, and Target to celebrate the life and legacy of MLK Jr.
We will gather at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center and we ask that individuals, families, troops, clubs and other groups come out and help us honor MLK Jr. and make a positive difference in our community!

Participants will in the Book Preservation project will wrap books for the overnight kits in a clear plastic coating. The wrapping keeps the book protected from wear and tear for a lasting companion.
