Volunteer at First Night Boston!

Please note: This is an express interest opportunity. When you click "express interest" below, you will be contacting First Night, Boston Cares' partner organization on this project, directly. They will manage communication before and after the project, and the volunteer group day-of. Boston Cares cannot verify attendance for express interest opportunities. If you need to have your hours verified, please coordinate directly with the contact listed below.

First Night is an annual New Year's Eve celebration in Copley Square that dazzles 300,000 plus Bostonians and visitors alike. As we begin to look forward to 2018, we are encouraged by the support of our community to continue on this positive trajectory and grow our beloved New Year's Eve tradition. Volunteers are a special part of First Night First Day, as they brave the cold and crowds in an effort to ensure the event’s set up and success. If you’re willing and able to work outdoors in the midst of Boston’s New Year’s Eve celebration, then we want you! We have volunteer positions available in kids arts & crafts, programming support, setup/breakdown, info tents, and ice sculptural patrol.

If you are intersted in volunteering, express interest below.
