GYSD 2015: Distribute Food at The Harvest Food Pantry

Are you under the age of 25, or volunteering with a youth who is?  Join us for Global Youth Service Day 2015! The project below is a great opportunity for youth ages 13+/6+ with adult to engage in service and participate in this special day of youth service.   Don't forget to share your service experience with us on social media #GYSD2015 and @BostonCares!

Volunteers will help by registering individuals, distributing food, sorting clothes, and visiting with guests.


Donations of used but clean plastic grocery bags are greatly appreciated at this project.

Youth Friendly, 6+. Youth under 15 must participate with an accompanying adult. All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Please email youth@bostoncares.org or call 617-422-0910 x 208 if you have any questions about bringing youth to this project.

About The Harvest Food Pantry:
The Harvard Food Pantry has been serving the Cambridge community since 1989, providing groceries, fresh produce and clothing to all residents in need. The Pantry is supported by The Greater Boston Vineyard Church.
