Conduct Mock Interviews at English for New Bostonians

 

Help immigrants and refugees to practice their interviewing skills through mock interviews! Each volunteer will conduct 3-4 individualized mock interviews throughout the volunteer time period! All materials will be provided beforehand (as a reference) and on site. These mock interviews provide immigrants to improve their interviewing skills for potentail employement opportunities!

T-Accesible: Red Line (Central) + Bus #70 to Green Street @ Magazine Street

This volunteer opportunity is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.

English for New Bostonians (ENB) is a public-private-community collaboration addressing the urgent need for increased English language learning opportunities for adult immigrants in Boston. Comprised of the City of Boston, foundations, corporations, non-profits, and community organizations, ENB works to support high-quality, accessible ESOL programs; to expand Boston’s capacity to serve English language learners; to test new strategies to reach learners at home, in the community, and at work; to encourage new investment by diverse stakeholders; to heighten awareness about the importance of adult English language learning; and to support the development of a coordinated ESOL system in Boston.
