Help the Mission Hill School Build a Self-service Library
Students love the Mission Hill school library and we want to make it easier for them to use. It is staffed by parent volunteers that are not full time. Volunteers will: -Catalog new books -Shelve new and retuned books -Make a large map of where books can be found -Make attractive signs that assist students in finding what they are looking for -Make a pamphlet or book that explains how to use the library including signing out a book and returning it. This would be a guide that teachers could read to classrooms. -Dust/clean the book shelves T-Accessible: Orange Line (Forest Hills) This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have completed an orientation. Is this education/tutoring project full?
