Class Assistant with City Strings United, Inc.
Come volunteer with City Strings United and assist in a musical classroom. No prior musical experience is necessary, just a willing to be positive and encouraging to the youth! City Strings United transforms young lives through stringed instruments. They expose under-served youth to musical experiences where they develop character, build confidence and develop their skills to create lasting social change. Their Core Values include Integrity, Self-discipline, Respect, Peer Mentoring and Pursuit of Excellence. Volunteer groups will meet at the Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA. The typical schedule of the day will be setting up chairs and equipment, assisting the students in class with the days activities, and helping to put away equipment and cleaning up the room.
